Observations from the spouse of an ex Chronic Fatigue sufferer.. Continued

My last entry ended with the question: Why are people still suffering from Chronic Fatigue and other chronic illnesses?

Well…..

1 – Most people do not understand, or don’t want to believe that a good diet is the basis for good health.

2 – The food that is being produced or farmed, due to excessive profit-driven farming and food production, does not have the nutritional value to support a good diet.

3 – Doctors – who will also tell you that a good diet is the basis for good health – ignore the fact that the source of the good diet is suspect and have so little training on nutrition, that they cannot provide the answers to many “incurable” diseases. Mostly, instead of opening their minds to areas where their knowledge is inadequate and at least referring the patient to someone who may have the answers, they label the illness as incurable. Now I don’t want to go down the road of knocking doctors, as there are some very good ones and there are those who recognize their limitations and the value of alternative health solutions. Furthermore their excessively heavy workload make it very difficult to research or consider alternatives.

4 – If you are going to take supplements, take good supplements and take them consistently! If you are not going to be consistent, don’t waste your money!

5 – People expect immediate results and give up too soon. Nutritional Healing takes time. Unlike drugs there usually is not an immediate effect. Also, unlike drugs, there are usually no side effect either.
